Grading Policy
 
  • 50% Lab practicals - identification of preserved specimens

  • 30% Field Book - write everything down!

  • 10% Weekly Quizzes - they will be easy...if you study

  • 10% Participation and professionalism - treat classmates and herps with respect

For Field Trips

Expectations

You should be able to identify all Texas herps to species level and all U.S. herps to Family or Genera without the use of a key.  You will be able to identify all local anurans by breeding call.  The field trips are a privilege and will be loads of fun.  Expect to be in lab for at least three hours per week.
